Carnegie Clinical Research Ltd was established in 2010, by Hilary Birrell.
Hilary set-up CCR Ltd following a decade of Clinical Operations Consulting and prior to this spent 12 years in clinical trial and leadership positions in AstraZeneca, Edinburgh, UK.

CLINICAL OPERATIONS AND TRIAL MANAGEMENT

Over three decades years of experience in Clinical Operations, Managing and Monitoring of Phase I-IV Clinical trials, across an extensive range of treatment indications, study designs and pharmaceutical agents; we have worked on national and international trials with Pharma and Biotech Companies, Clinical Research Organisations, Phase 1 units and Academic Clinical Trials Units

There is strong experience of Quality Management within the company, having participated in many audits and assisted clients with preparation for inspection by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).

We can also develop Quality Systems for Biotech and Pharma Companies in line with the latest Regulatory Frameworks and ICH GCP Guidelines.

INTERNATIONAL NETWORKS

We have access to a large network of Academic Clinical Trial Units and Investigational sites and research teams in Scotland, England, Northern Ireland, Netherlands and Scandinavia.

We contract the services of experienced project managers and monitors and have access to a wide international network of experienced study personnel and other clinical trial vendors.

We are experienced in assembling teams of personnel and sites to match sponsors individual study requirements.
